Todd and Julie Chrisley began serving their 12 and 7-year prison sentences, respectively, on Tuesday, January 17. Beginning a long time in custody is sure to be a difficult time for any family, and a Chrisley family insider revealed to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that before the pair began to serve their time, it was a tearful goodbye for the Chrisley Knows Best stars and their family.
The insider said that Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, spent as much time bonding with their loved ones as they possibly could, even though they’re still unsure of what comes next. “Todd and Julie spent all yesterday with their family, and it was an extremely emotional time. There were lots of tears and no one knew what to say because there was nothing that they could say which would change anything,” the insider said. “Todd and Julie knew that they had run out of options, and this was it.” The source echoed a similar sentiment that Todd had shared in his final message on Instagram before beginning his sentence, where wrote that he would “Fight the good fight.”
A week before being required to report to their respective facilities, the pair had both requested bond while they try to appeal their tax fraud conviction and have it overturned. They were denied bond, but the source said that they were going to keep trying for the appeal. “Todd is insisting that he will fight the good fight and he is putting all his eggs in one basket with this appeal. They have not accepted responsibility for this, and they are not going to. They truly believe that they were failed by the system,” they said.
The reality star couple received their sentences in November. Julie is currently serving her time at Kentucky’s Federal Medical Center Lexington, while her husband is at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida. “Julie’s last-minute change to Kentucky was a slight moment of joy for them because most of the kids live in Tennessee, which is only one state over. Todd’s location in Pensacola Florida is another story and it will not be as easy to visit him,” the insider said. “This is so hard on all of them right now.”
Todd and Julie were both found guilty on all counts of tax fraud back in June. Todd was convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, tax fraud, and bank fraud. Julie was found guilty of tax fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States.
Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott: Why They Split Again 11 Months After Having 2nd Baby (Exclusive)
After Kylie Jenner, 25, and Travis Scott, 31, split yet again, fans are left wondering what happened between the parents of two to make them go their separate ways. Unfortunately, according to a source close to the Kardashians, the reason has to do with commitment. “One of the contributing factors to their most recent split is that, after 6 years together and two children, Travis still hadn’t shown Kylie that he is 100 percent committed to her for life,” an insider told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “He’s known for several years that Kylie wanted to be engaged, and they discussed it. But the ring never came, and her friends and family believe that she deserves this. She has wanted her dream wedding for so long and Travis was aware of this.”
Kylie’s famous family was aware of it, too. When he took her on a special Mother’s Day trip to the Turks & Caicos, a source told us in separate comments that her near and dear family members were hoping for an engagement. “As far as an engagement, Kylie’s family has been pushing for this so hard and everyone can only hope that he proposes soon,” the source told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY for the May 2022 report.
Travis and Kylie failed to spend the holidays together, even after welcoming their second child on February 2 of 2022. Us Weekly subsequently reported that they’d split again. “Kylie and Travis are off again, they were supposed to spend the holidays together, but she went to Aspen to be with her family and friends up there,” a source told the outlet for the Jan 7 article. “This has happened so many times before, they’re known to be on again off again, but always remain friends and great coparents.”
According to our source, however, they’d recently hit a “rough patch” and had been affected by “stress.” Still, they noted, one can never say never when it comes to the famous duo. “The two of them have been through a rough patch recently because they are both super stressed out with their busy schedules,” the pal told HL. “They have broken up several times before and have gotten back together, so no one would be surprised if they do again. After everything that he went through this past year, the fact that Kylie stood by him speaks volumes.”
The couple also share daughter Stormi, 4. Their son, though initially named Wolf Webster, still doesn’t appear to have a permanent, officially announced name. He’s now 11 months old. They previously split back in October of 2019.
Raquel Leviss Blames Katie Maloney For Tom Schwartz Fling Ending Prematurely (EXCLUSIVE)
Vanderpump Rules returns for a tenth season on Feb. 8, and as the trailer has already pointed out, it’ll feature a lot of jaw-dropping moments. One in particular will be a surprise hookup between Raquel Leviss and Tom Schwartz, following their respective splits with James Kennedy and Katie Maloney. Raquel and Tom’s spicy fling was actually reported before footage from Season 10 emerged, and HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY learned Katie freaked out over their hot makeout sessions that first started around the time of Scheana Shay‘s wedding in Cancun over the summer.
But what we are now learning — thanks to an EXCLUSIVE interview with Raquel at the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 premiere party at SUR on Feb. 7 — is that Katie’s to blame for the fling fizzling before it could become anything more. She explained, “I think the main reason why a relationship didn’t flourish is because Katie had limits on who he can and can’t date. Personally, I feel like that’s unfair just because as individuals, we [should be able to] date whoever we want to date. [Just like] with James, I wasn’t happy that he had a new girlfriend weeks after we broke up, but he’s allowed to do whatever he wants with his life.”
In this evening’s season premiere episode (watch the first few minutes here), Katie reveals that she and Tom had rules about dating after their divorce. Per her “limits”, they could date anyone except someone in their friend group. Tom obviously pushed the boundaries when he hooked up with Raquel.
HollywoodLife had previously learned, EXCLUSIVELY, that Kate was spotted “screaming” at Tom and Raquel after initially catching them “heavily making out”. And it didn’t just happen once — it happened quite a few times in the days before, after, and during Scheana’s wedding.
Want to see it all play out? New episodes of Vanderpump Rules air Wednesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
Donna D’Errico Teases OG ‘Baywatch’ Reunion: ‘Never Say Never’ (Exclusive)
Donna D’Errico would “never say never” to a Baywatch revival, but she revealed in an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife that she’d only want to take part if it was as good as Cobra Kai, the hit Netflix TV series that followed-up The Karate Kid film franchise. “I never say never. It’s not a good idea to say never, but I kind of already did that. And it was cool when it happened, but sometimes when you redo things, it just doesn’t work well. The only exception to the rule is Cobra Kai, which is amazing. If they could redo Baywatch, and it turns out like Cobra Kai, I’m all in. But, as I sit here right now my feeling is, I’ve already done that and it was cool, but let’s move on now. I mean, I never say never, but it’s not something I think about, ever.”
Donna, 54, who starred on the long-running series for two seasons, from 1996-1998, landed the high-profile job — and all the fame that came with it — a few months after moving to Los Angeles from her native Georgia. Not long after scoring the dream gig, Donna was set up on a blind date with Mötley Crü rocker Nikki Sixx, 64, and just three months later they were married. Their union lasted a decade, and during their time together Donna put her own career on hold — a choice she says she regrets. “I was raised in the South, and I was very inexperienced about the world and about all of it. And then suddenly I’m in Hollywood, working with David Hasselhoff, and Pamela Anderson and all of these people, and I think that the advice that I would give myself would be not to give up my career when I got married, which I did.”
When Donna and Nikki got together he already had three kids — sons Gunner, 31, and Decker, 27, and daughter Storm, 28, who he shares with ex-wife Brandi Brandt, 54. Donna also had a son, film and television composer, Rhyan, 29, from a previous relationship. Together the former couple went on to have daughter Frankie, 22, now a successful jewelry designer, and Donna “put her career on the back-burner” to focus on being a full-time mom. “Although I don’t regret raising my ex’s kids, so that he could focus on his career, I do regret giving up my career,” she shared. “I felt that I could sort of put my career on the back burner while he focused on putting his band back together and getting his career back on track. And then I thought, wrongly, that after that happened, I could sort of pick back up where my career left off. But I was naive, I didn’t know the ways of Hollywood at the time, I didn’t realize that once you’re out of the public eye, people forget about you. You know, two weeks later, they move on to the next person…Who knows what my career trajectory could have been, if I’d continued.”
Since her 2007 divorce, Donna has been steadily building back her career. She recently starred in the 2022 crime thriller Frank and Penelope — a role she loved because it went against type. “I really enjoyed playing that character, because it was something unexpected,” she explained. “I loved playing the villain and she was just not attractive, just a very cold blooded, horrible human being. I really love playing that type of character, someone I can really sink my teeth into. What doesn’t interest me is playing the pretty girl or the mom, that just doesn’t interest me. Because for me, it just isn’t something that I can explore, it’s just not a stretch.”
But, when it comes to her personal life, the former Playboy model is fine staying exactly as she is — happily single. “I’ve made some terrible, terrible choices in the past with relationships,” she admitted. “I’m an empath [highly attuned to other people’s feeling and emotions] and empaths kind of, or at least me, I kind of fall prey very easily to narcissistic people. One-hundred-percent of my past relationships have been narcissists. But you don’t see that in the beginning, or I didn’t, because they’re so good at fooling you. They’re saying all the right things and being so amazing and so personable and charming. All the outward appearances are that this is the greatest guy. And then, eventually, the mask slips, and you see them for who they really are. And it’s very ugly, and it’s not what you thought. And so long story short, I don’t trust my own judgment. I’m a little gun shy now, or a lot gun shy, of getting into another relationship. I don’t trust that I won’t fall for another narcissist. So that’s kind of why I choose to be single now. Because I just can’t go through that again. It’s too much, and I’d just much rather be single. I guess [if a man wanted to change my mind he] would have to prove to me that being with [him] would be better than being single. Because I am pretty comfy.”
Part of her now “comfy” life is her sensational success as one of the many celebrity creators on OnlyFans. A site she reveals she joined as a response to the haters telling her she shouldn’t be wearing bikinis anymore. “I thought I was gonna be on there a couple of weeks or a month and then you know, I would have made my point, that I can still wear a bikini. But now not that I’m on there I’m having a ball and making great money.”
“I’ve stayed on there because it turned into a second business, [the money] is no joke. And, unlike a lot of celebrities on there who have agencies that run their accounts and hired chatters impersonating them in the chats, it’s really me on there. I spend a few hours a day personally on there, chatting with people. And I keep it very clean. I can post the stuff that I’m selling on there, on Instagram. But I’m having fun because there’s no censorship. There’s nobody bullying me. Everybody’s complimentary, I’m having a ball. I should have done this years ago.”
